I bought my first SLR camera at the age of 18 (1978) when I also built a darkroom. I'd been developing my own photographs since I was 16 thanks to a trusting high school teacher. Photographic images have played a part in my art practice since about 1991.
"Mutability" (1993) is a silkscreen on translucent paper, mounted on a sheet of transparent perspex. As the light changes, so does the luminosity of the image. "Foundations" (2002) shows a green field of texts penned by authors from countries colonized by the English.
