Is it an exoskeleton?
Is it a temple?
Is it a less-is-more house?

Today there is an increasing consciousness that well-being is not necessarily tied to the ownership of material things. More and more of our needs from education to entertainment have little material content. The West is becoming a post-industrial society because our basic needs are fairly easily met.

In this sculpture you don’t need any device to connect with ... whatever this connects you to.

It is a sculpture to be experienced individually from the inside out. The threshold is a place to pause.

To be made from recycled wood, which might be dressed demolition wood or Manuka from a Taranaki farm.

To be attached to the ground at 5 points with half buried round fence posts. See diagram on the left re: support for the structure which will be strong enough to bear the weight of about 100 kilos. The structure will be built to make it difficult to climb.
