"Room of Memories" was accomodation for
a night's sleep under the stars on June 21st.
This historic courtyard is flanked by the LVC (Leiden Pop music podium on the left), the Concert Hall from 1826 with extensions built in the 20th century (to the right of the photo above), the church building which was part of the St. Catherina (Sint-Catharinagasthuis) hospital, hostel and school complex was established in 1275 for the poor of Leiden.
On the north side of the courtyard (below) are two 15th century houses which were part of the school complex and inside these are currently artist studios. We built this structure in one of these studios.
The mirror swivelled and the suspended window bore engraved texts from the "Hidden Words" by Baha'u'llah.

<< The couple (from Leiden and Rotterdam) who booked this "open air hotel" (OpenLuchtHotel) bed. This was one of 35 sculptural outdoor beds located in historic settings throughout the centre of Leiden.
There had been a storm a few hours earlier
and the chance of rain was likely from the
south-west so we clamped a double layer of
plastic on one side of the structure.
