"An inland soul" (Een inlandse ziel), hung from the largest branch of the largest tree
"Chapel of the soul" (Kapel van de ziel), enclosure of branches with a mirror in the centre.

This 1997 artwork consists of up to 50 tulip forms along with a text that is displayed below them.
For this location we chose to hang just nine, to match the number of seats in the circle beyond.
The text placed on a piece of paper on the ground below was:
