It reads:
"It is not a tale invented but
a confirmation of
what went on before..."

The Dutch House of Orange has reigned
since 1572. The tulip from Turkey
gained popularity in West Europe
in the early 1600s.

Inspired by the London Treetop project we participated in 2009 we decided to use the tree as our gallery taking into account the differing wind patterns. So on the far side the work "Waka Huia" swings in broad s shaped arches while on the east side of the tree which is more sheltered, the "Tulips from Istanbul" hung in stillness while on the west side of the tree the "First Twitters" rapidly spun in spirals.

"First Twitters"
Here we just hung five forms which continually spun in the wind.

in the Cretaceous Period, 145-66 million years ago,
when insects diversified..."
