"Green" is a performance/happening planned for 2016 somewhere where those dressed in green will walk for us. Details to be announced.
It all began with red in at the 2011/12 Tahora folk festival on a sheep farm in high country Taranaki, Aotearoa | New Zealand. The hills were sooo green. So we rattled up red things from those at the festival and then found walkers for a transit of red across the valley. Before we knew it, we had horseridders and a team of 30 walkers! And then there was Mark Laurent's beautiful melody.
The premiere for the video Transit in a green landscape was at the Auckland arts festival, Splore in 2012.
Inspired by this experience we set about work on "Blue". This was filmed in 2014 during a small festival KHAMA (Kaipara Hills Acoustic Music Assn) Autumn Equinox Gathering against the backdrop of the Kaipara hills. The video on this is still in production.
Come 2015 and it is time for "yellow" and this time the backdrop is the awa (river) during the inaugural GOmanawa event near Tauranga.
