Made as a response to the a window for the Galerie TamTam exhibition organized by Sonja van Kerkhoff.

This window was a challenge: it was already laid out in a geometric grid, leaving little room for the artwork. Visually, my design fits into the existing matrix, while contradicting it conceptually. It could be called an identity spaghetti.

The tricolour flag is an artefact from the age of rationalism: appropriate to a class society or the compartmentalisation of society into separate Catholic, Protestant and Socialist communities. Real life - at least today - is not so simple.
