The text reads:

You honour, I stand here unjustly accused
for having attempted
and this in my only crime
to bring the little woman
into the foreground,
without
changing the landscape

One of a number of ironic text-image works.
Here the text claims a change in the position of women in society without affecting society. Impossible of course.

The black form when seen on a flat piece of paper, receeds visually. To stress this ambiguous space (or depth of meaning) some prints are presented as a physical object on 19 layers of card. The black contour itself is either a vase (container) or the (empty) space.
